August 06, 2010,I just figured out how to post beads for sale on my Facebook page! I'm not sure if I'll like it, or more important, how customers will like it, but it's pretty easy to list new items for sale, much faster than Etsy.Here in Rockland it's Lobstah Festival time which means the crowds are here! It's nearly impossible to get to the grocery store or anything that's across town, but we're so close that I can hear The Asbury Dukes concert, right here at home! We'd have gotten tickets but navigating crowds or long walks on crutches isn't the best. July 23, 2010, It's been too long since an update but I've been busy! My DH took a tumble playing tennis and broke his ankle so I've been playing nurse-maid. It's really cut into my torch time! He's been comparing my nursing skills and chair side manner to Kathy Bates in Misery. Guess it's a good thing I didn't decide to go for a career in the health field! LOL! I have been making a few beads and have some fall and witchy beads on eBay, and will have more ready for sale soon here on the website, so check back and also check out Facebook. I just found out that they have a way to add a store to sell things from so I'm going to try that out. It might turn out to be quicker and easier than Etsy or my website for direct sales. July 08, 2010, I've been in a Halloween kind of mood on the torch the last few days, strange since it's been pretty hot. I'm also working on revising the website and working on some fun requests. Pheasants, Apples, ketchup, Ballerinas, Flat Cupcackes, and one of the funniest requests ever, but I can't share that one just yet. There are some new auctions on EBAY, and I have a bunch ready for my Etsy store. I'm not sure if I like the way the "Shop" page here on the website is working. I'd like to have a page that allows me to put on larger pictures , or at least links to larger pictures. so people can see a real close-up of the beads. I know I'd want to if I was buying them!
